Installation of cameras in water mains, sewers and service shafts to assess the condition of the infrastructure via video
Video inspections provide a view inside pipes, pressurised networks, sewers and any hard-to-access spaces. This usually involves a camera attached to a flexible cable which is inserted into a pipe of any kind to view its condition from the inside. This makes it possible to identify breaks, build-up, unauthorised connections, sediment and any other anomalies present, in order to assess the best approach to resolving the problem. For sewers and large-diameter pipes, wheeled robots, underwater robots and drones can also be used.
